What we read from Nissans
All 15 Nissan versions in our list are fully electric. With a large battery pack, the profit is in the details: not only how much capacity is remaining, but also whether all cells are still performing equally.
The SOH percentage: the actual capacity compared to the factory value
The cell balance: the voltage difference between the weakest and the strongest cell
The charging history: how often it has been fast-charged and how deeply it has been discharged
The warranty status of the battery pack
A comparison with similar cars of the same year of manufacture

Which Nissans we can test
The Leaf does not have active cooling, which means its condition depends more heavily on how the car has been used. In total, there are 15 Nissan models in our list, divided into 8 model groups, including Ariya, e-NV200 24/40, INTERSTAR.
We do not yet have enough measurements for Nissan to provide a reliable overview. However, the same applies to every brand: the measurement reads the actual capacity, and this often turns out differently than the mileage would suggest.
Age and mileage say little about a battery pack. How it has been charged is more important: a car that was plugged into a fast charger for years is in a different condition than a car that was connected to a home wallbox. You only see this difference when you read the battery pack yourself, and that is precisely what a buyer of a used Nissan asks for.
The measurement is performed via the OBD port. You will receive the SOH percentage, the cell balance, the warranty status, the charging history, and a comparison with similar cars, summarized in a CARA-certified certificate as a PDF and a JPEG.
