Discover the SOH test for your car company

A quick electric car battery check in under 3 minutes, directly via the OBD port. No workshop visit, no long test drive, and no waiting time. You provide the buyer with hard proof instead of an assumption.

Why a battery certificate sells your used cars faster

The battery is the most expensive part of an electric car. As long as the buyer knows nothing about it, they will keep hesitating. And a hesitant buyer clicks through to the next advertisement. With a certificate, you move that conversation to the beginning of the sales process, where you can still do something with it.

More attention per advertisement

An advertisement with an objective battery certificate gives the buyer a reason to keep looking. The biggest doubt is gone before they even call.

Shorter standing time

The sooner the battery question is answered, the fewer laps a car will drive around the lot. You do not have to wait for a buyer to bring it up themselves.

Less discussion during trade-in

You buy based on measured values rather than on feeling. You recognize a car with a weak battery pack before you take it into stock.

“Since we started using CARA-approved certificates, our used electric vehicles sell faster and at higher margins.”

Youri van Dijk · Owner Your-drive.nl

“Thanks to the TBE technology, we have an independent and tamper-proof report of the actual battery condition within 3 minutes.”

Rex Nuyten · Head Salesperson, Vughterpoort Auto

How the SOH test for car companies works in four steps

Your mechanic does not need to take a course for it. The car remains where it is.

01

Dongle in the OBD port

The car does not have to leave the showroom or the lot. No lift, no test drive, no discharging from 100 to 10 percent.

02

Read in 3 minutes

The app automatically recognizes the vehicle and reads the Battery Management System. More than 680 models are supported.

03

Certificate in the file

You will receive a CARA Approved certificate as a PDF and as an image for the advertisement, linked to the chassis number.

04

In the advertisement

The buyer sees the actual remaining capacity and the cell balance. No stories from the seller, but a measurement.

A quick electric car battery check within 3 minutes

Competing methods require a dynamic test: driving the battery from full to nearly empty to calculate the capacity. This takes hours to days, costs man-hours, and ties up a car that you want to sell.

We measure statically. The data comes directly from the Battery Management System via the OBD port and is compared with our own database. The result does not depend on how full the battery is at that moment. Within a maximum of 3 minutes, your salesperson will have the result on their screen.

What does a SOH test cost for a car dealership?

A one-time fee for the toolkit, then per test performed. No subscription, no minimum purchase, and no costs for features you do not use.

All amounts are one-off and exclusive of VAT and shipping. For each battery certificate executed, you then pay € 29.95 excl. VAT, invoiced monthly in arrears.

What your salesperson shows to the customer

The certificate shows the State of Health as a percentage, the remaining capacity in kilowatt-hours, the voltage differences between the individual cells, and a final assessment based on the traffic light principle. Everything is linked to the chassis number, ensuring the report belongs to that specific car and not just a model.

The method is CARA Approved, the European standard for battery diagnostics. That is the difference between a printout from a universal scanner and a report that the buying party can rely on.

If you want the certificate to be visible outside the showroom as well, it can be included as an image in your sales photos or appear via a link in your own system. You can read about how that works on the page about SOH integration.

Confidence that sells

That is not just a slogan under our logo. A buyer who is certain about what they are purchasing negotiates for a shorter time and backs out less often. Measuring is not an expense for you, but a selling point.
