What an SOH test measures, and why that measurement is accurate
State of Health is the percentage of capacity that a battery pack can still hold today compared to its factory value. We do not read this value from the dealer, but measure it ourselves from the battery management system via the OBD port. This gives you a result that is independent of brand, dealer, or leasing company.
In addition to the SOH percentage, we look at the cell balance: the voltage difference between the weakest and strongest cell. A pack that looks healthy on average but is running out of balance internally is revealed by that difference. The charging history and warranty status are also included in the report, so you know where a car comes from and what the manufacturer still covers.

Those who occasionally have a car inspected can simply book an individual test. If you handle higher volumes, it is cheaper to perform the measurements yourself.
